4 Days East Java Trip
Day 1 Arrival Surabaya – Malang
Our guide and driver will pick you up at Surabaya Airport. After meeting service we will drive to Malang. It takes around 2 hours drive from Surabaya. On the way to Malang we will stop by at Safari Park Prigen. This park hosts more than 2,000 animals from around the world. Proceed to Malang.
Day 2TumpakSewu Waterfall
Pick up at 08.00 AM we will drive to TumpakSewu Waterfall which is located in southern Malang. It takes around 2 hours drive. TumpakSewu Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in East Java, around 150 m high. It’s like a sheet of giant curtain. You can see the waterfall from the viewpoint. And you can get closer to the waterfall by taking a wooden ladder (you have to be careful because the ladder is steep and slippery). Lunch will be served in lunch box. After visiting the waterfall we drive back to Malang
Day 3 Malang – Bromo – Bondowoso
We check out from the hotel at 1.00 am then drive to Sukapura. It takes 2.5 hours drive to Sukapura. In Sukapura, we will change to the jeep then drive to the viewpoint where we can see the process of sunrise. After seeing the process of Sunrise, we continue the trip to Bromo crater via sea of sand. The distance from the parking area of the jeep and Bromo Crater is 1 km. To reach the top of the mountain, you can walk for 30 minutes or ride the horse back. After we arrive on the slope of Bromo we should climb the stair and there are 249 steps to see the Bromo active crater. After we visit Bromo, we continue driving to Bondowoso. It takes around 5 hours drive from Bromo.
Day 4 Ijen Blue Fire – Surabaya Airport
At 12.00 AM we start the trip to Paltuding (the entrance point). From Paltuding, we start trekking to the top of Ijen to see the crater and it will take about 1,5 hours or more. From the top of the crater, we have to walk down to the crater to see the blue fire. After the sunrise we can see the one-kilometer-wide-acid crater. Back to Paltuding then drive Surabaya Airport. It takes around 6 hours drive.
